Walderslade

Originally a small village, Walderslade, meaning ‘wood in a valley’, is now a large suburb in the Medway Towns on the edge of the North Downs. The original village is now the commercial centre of the area where you’ll find Greyfox, a Co-op supermarket, Sherwood Oak public house, public library and a variety of other small businesses, restaurants and so on. On the outer edges of the area you’ll find the Alexandra Hospital and the Bridgewood Manor Hotel.
